Course Description : “Diabetes Mellitus Seminar: From Theory to Practice” is a 3 day comprehensive course designed by diabetes educators for diabetes educators. Diabetes care and education is an evolving profession necessitating advanced knowledge to both interpret and apply new scientific information for our patients. We serve many roles in our daily patient care activities such as mentor…team leader…coach…clinician…and trainer. This course utilizes didactic lectures and interactive case studies to strengthen and enhance critical thinking of this complex disease. Take advantage of this multi-disciplinary learning opportunity and gain added comfort in the ever expanding frontier of diabetes education.
